1857 Ticket Edward Everett Oration Mount Vernon

1857 Boston Music Hall 2 sided ticket for an Oration by the Hon. Edward Everett, a prominent politician of the antebellum era. The Oration was given to raise funds for saving George Washington's Mt. Vernon home which had fallen into disrepair and n eglect. Both the federal government and the state of Virginia, at the time, had refused to help preserve Mt.
