20pc Collection of Japanese Taisho Era Commercial Documents and Correspondence

A collection of Japanese commercial papers and hand-written correspondence, primarily dating to the Taisho era. The group includes printed ledger sheets, receipts, and letters executed in brush-written running script on various paper stocks including translucent tissue and heavier tan paper. A prominent printed receipt is headed for the merchant Hane-Kane Man Shoten, located at Tokyo-shi, Nihonbashi-ku, Sakamoto-cho 17-banchi, and features two red rectangular ink seals. Hand-written entries on several documents refer to Okegawa Riichi and include dates such as Taisho 5 (1916).
