Crafted from cream-colored resin to simulate carved bone the group features a matching pair of an emperor and empress seated on elaborate dragon thrones, wearing traditional Qing dynasty court attire including ceremonial hats and court beads. The thrones are intricately decorated with pierced openwork, dragon-head terminals, and scrolling cloud motifs. The lot also includes a seated female figurine in Han-style robes holding a floral offering, and a smaller standing figurine of a sage wearing a straw hat and long robes. The seated female figurine is mounted on a carved openwork wooden base featuring two incised characters reading Wan and Cai. Each figurine is presented on an individual dark-stained wooden stand. Incised marks on Geisha base, all others without makers mark. Dimensions: 5.5"W x 13.5"H Weight: 9.1 lbs Condition Request Condition Report Good.
