A PAIR OF FRENCH PATINATED AND GILT BRONZE TWO-LIGHT FIGURAL CANDELABRA
French, early 19th Century, each cast as a classically draped maiden with a gilt girdle and lappet headdress, a wreath in either hand, bearing upon her head a gilt urn with flame finial issuing a pair of scrolling foliate branches from chimera masks, with gadrooned nozzles and circular drip pans, on a waisted plinth applied with a gilt mask amid anthemion and scrolls and with ribbon-tied laurel wreaths to the sides, the stepped base with lotus-cast borders.
