An Austrian Louis XVI giltwood cartel clock by J. Bentele (watchmaker
Gilt and bronzed case. Richly carved and sculpted decoration with coin-cut motifs, urns and draperies, among other details. White-enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numeral indices, date, signed on the movement plate and numbered “No 430”. Height 83, width 40. Pendulum and key included.
