Angelo Sirio Pellegrini – Colline Toscane, 1973 Oil painting on canvas by Angelo Sirio Pellegrini, titled Colline Toscane, created in 1973. The work depicts a wide Tuscan hilly landscape, organized into fields, farmhouses and rows of cypress trees that mark the depth of the composition. The landscape is interpreted through soft and luminous painting, characterized by synthetic shapes and a delicate palette, in which greens, yellows, pinks and blues alternate, creating a suspended and harmonious atmosphere. In the foreground the more intense vegetation frames the view, while the road guides the gaze towards the hills and distant buildings. Technique: oil on canvas. Era: 1973. Title: Colline Toscane. Dimensions: 50 × 70 cm. Signature: signed “Pellegrini” at bottom left. On the back: present title, artist's signature and year of execution 1973, as visible in photograph. Reference bibliography: Angelo Sirio Pellegrini is cited in the volume Pittori, scultori ed architetti del passato (e non) a Livorno, by Giuseppe Argentieri and Luciano Bonetti. The work is offered without a frame. Conditions: the work is in good general condition, compatible with its age. See photographs for a complete assessment of the artwork's conservation status and the back. Shipping: the work will be shipped with careful packaging and appropriate protections for transport.
