Anna Bila - Soft Collision – XXL

Soft Collision explores the delicate balance between connection, tension, and coexistence. Three organic forms meet in a quiet yet dynamic composition. Their rounded shapes appear both independent and interconnected, touching at subtle points of contact. Despite their visual weight, the forms seem almost weightless, suspended in a moment of fragile equilibrium. Soft transitions of dusty rose, muted violet, charcoal, and deep blue create a sense of depth and movement. The natural texture of the canvas remains visible, becoming an integral part of the composition. Working with diluted inks and pigments, Anna Bila allows gravity, water, and the unpredictable behaviour of materials to shape the final image. Layers of colour merge and settle into the fabric, creating delicate gradients and unexpected textures. The painting belongs to the artist’s ongoing Living Stone series, in which organic forms exist somewhere between solidity and fluidity, stillness and transformation. Minimalist in composition yet rich in emotional associations, Soft Collision invites the viewer to reflect on the invisible forces that bring things together and hold them in balance.
