Antique Victorian Silver Plated Fruit Basket George W. Scott & Sons Ltd 19th C

This is an exceptionally fine antique English Victorian silver plated fruit basket with hallmarks for the celebrated silversmith George W. Scott & Sons Ltd, circa 1880 in date. This magnificent basket has a shaped swing handle on a flared shaped oval basket and features a gadrooned rim which is further embellished with floral decoration and is raised an oval base. There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is sure to make it a treasured piece by any silver collector. Condition: In excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation.
