All auctions / Miscellaneous / Antonio Martucci (1934) - Pulcinella
Antonio Martucci - Pulcinella in the Artist's Studio with Guitar and Antique Objects Oil on panel with strong thick impasto by master Antonio Martucci, signed by the artist at the bottom right and on the back of the frame. It depicts a melancholic Pulcinella in traditional costume, seated in his studio/workshop with a guitar in hand. Bold, three-dimensional brushwork, characterized by strong chiaroscuro and a warm, enveloping light that emphasizes the volumes. Complete with an imposing and exquisite gilded frame worked in relief. The author Antonio Martucci, born in Naples in 1934, developed his prolific artistic production from the mid-1950s onward. The style of the painting blends traditional elements (such as the timeless figure of Pulcinella and the old workshop setting). (Dimensions of the painting without frame 40x30) The work will be packaged with the utmost care, using protective materials to guarantee safe shipping. Any damage to the frame will not be a valid reason for claims or order cancellations."}
