Captivating Li Yuan Hung Dollar "with Hat" and Tripled Reverse Die CHINA. Dollar, ND (1912). Wuchang Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details. L&M-43; K-638A; KM-Y-320; WS-0089A. Li Yuan Hung with hat type. Tripled reverse die. Though some very light cleaning as noted is observed, this otherwise uncirculated crown offers exceptional appeal and flair, and stands as the RARER of the two types featuring the then-Provisional Vice President--here wearing a cap adorned with the republic's star. Wonderfully toned a pastel iridescence among the fields of the obverse--an aspect that allows this piece to seemingly come alive before one's eyes. Estimate: $20,000 - $30,000.
