Citroën - 2 cv - 1978

GENERAL INFORMATION: We offer for sale a splendid Citroën 2CV in excellent overall condition. The car has had a single owner and has been used rarely, mainly for short summer trips. About twenty years ago, the car underwent a professional restoration that preserved its charm over the years. BODYWORK AND PAINTING: The body is in excellent condition and shows no rust. The paint is still very glossy, although there are some small surface imperfections due to the car’s age and the typical vibrations characteristic of this model. The floor pans are in excellent condition, both inside and under the body. The soft top has been recently replaced with a high-quality new one; the original top, which has only a small hole, is included with the car. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS: The mechanical parts and the engine are in excellent condition, making the car ready for immediate use. The tires are new and were recently fitted. The exhaust silencer may be visible in the photos, but the entire exhaust system has been recently replaced with a new one. The electrical system has been completely overhauled and functions correctly. Although the car is roadworthy, a general check or service is recommended before using it on the road definitively. INTERIOR: The interiors are very clean and show no significant signs of wear, giving an overall excellent appearance considering the car’s age. The cabin preserves the authenticity and essence typical of the Citroën 2CV and offers a welcoming and well-maintained environment. DOCUMENTS: The car comes with all the necessary documentation for ownership transfer or potential export. Further detailed photos and videos of the car are available on the Catawiki platform upon request. COLLECTION / TRANSPORT: The car can be viewed in Ragusa and is equipped with a valid periodic inspection certificate. We are available to assist in organizing transport and bureaucratic procedures. All related costs are entirely borne by the buyer. OTHER INFORMATION: This Citroën 2CV represents a fantastic opportunity for both collectors and enthusiasts of classic French cars, thanks to the unique combination of a single owner, rust-free condition, and recent maintenance that make it roadworthy.
