He became especially known for his numerous seascapes and waterscapes with ducks. Student of Willem Maris Additionally, Constant Artz was a talented watercolourist. He masterfully depicted ducks with their ducklings. Besides ducks, he also painted Dutch landscapes. Constant Artz was the son of The Hague School painter D.A.C. Artz.
