Pinches, Britannia holding caduceus and key, opening the doors to the exhibition, lamb and helmet at her feet, rev. wreath, date on tablet, edge named (sir g. clifford and sir f.a. weld), 63mm (BHM 3107); Crystal Palace Picture Gallery, 1890, Prize Medal, a bronze award by G.G. Adams, Britannia standing facing, flanked by Plenty and Learning, Fame flying left above, rev. wreath, named (Awarded by the Crystal Palace Co for a drawing on the thames by Bibt Nibbs, 1890), 63mm, (Allen SY-1873/001 var.; BHM -) [2]. Both nearly extremely fine, both cased (the first case being broken and rather tatty £100-£150.
