David Shrigley (1968) - I am an imbecile

The phrase "I AM AN IMBECILE" (IO SONO UN IMBECILLE) refers to a famous artwork by artist David Shrigley, created for the Banksy temporary project known as Dismaland; it was a temporary artistic installation, conceived and set up by Banksy and lasted for thirty-eight days, from August 21 to September 27, 2015 at the Tropicana, a disused seaside lido in the tourist town of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England. The artist, in addition to funding the construction of the show, contributed by creating ten new works. 4,000 visitors were admitted per day. The name of the installation is a compound English word formed from the terms dismal ("gloomy") and land ("land"). The balloons were distributed during the exhibition, making them highly sought-after collectibles. The plastic material bears the inscription, in white on a black background, "I AM AN IMBECILE". The measurements are height 80 cm, width 58 cm. It will be shipped folded and well packaged in a rigid and well-sealed box. It can be framed to emphasize its importance. Everything will be provided with an entry document to the park bearing the name, which for privacy was obscured, of the person who visited the Dismaland park Have a great auction to everyone!!!
