A fine French gilt bronze bowl, 19th century, richly decorated with engraved concentric borders. The center set with a circular hand-painted enamel portrait medallion depicting a noblewoman in profile, wearing colorful headwear and attire against a black ground. An elegant decorative object representative of the refined craftsmanship of the French decorative arts of the period.
