“Neralta” belongs to my series “Dream World,” a project in which I explore the creation of imagined places through abstract painting. In this work, the shapes and their relationships build a composition with balance and movement. The different layers add depth and give rise to a space that does not reference any specific place. It is a unique and original abstract work, open to the personal interpretation of whoever contemplates it. Details of the work: • “Neralta - Dream World” is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, made entirely by hand with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 100 cm × 100 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 110 cm × 110 cm, including the margin necessary for its new mount on a frame of 100 cm × 100 cm × 2 cm (approximately). • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, preserving the intensity of the colors and ensuring its preservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To guarantee safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas preserves the necessary margin for its new mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative border. • For an optimal finish, mounting should be carried out by a professional. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with the landscapes, the spaces we inhabit and the marks they leave on our memory. Each series responds to a different line of inquiry, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
