Notice by FOURIER, Prefect of ISÈRE, Issued in Grenoble (38) on the 11th of Fructidor, Year 11 (August 29, 1803), regarding the old gold coins. “The 24 livres tournois gold coins from 1785, which have retained their weight of 123 and a half grains, and the 48 livres coins, which have retained double that weight, are the only ones accepted at their face value… ” and not clipped or altered coins. Printed in Grenoble (38) by J. Allier, Printer, rue de Chaulnes. Poster (49 x 37.5 cm), Condition A.
