HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars

Lots XXX: Consecutive Pair of Solid 9s and 1 Million HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars, 31.10.1973. P-185c. KNB73d. Solid #9's. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. WL suffix. The Lychee Red $100 was a short lived series issued from 1972 until 1976, spanning from the VU to WY prefix, giving a total of just 20 odd suffix combinations. All lucky serial numbers are therefore relatively rare compared to the later issues, and this popular solid 9 is no exception. Consecutive with the Million number offered in the next lot. A rare, popular and auspicious note. Estimate: $1,500 - $2,000.

Estimate:$750
