In de stijl van Reuven Glass - Drinking service (19)...

In the style of Reuven Glass – Rare 19-Piece Satiny Glass Drink & Dessert Service with Gold and Watercolor Decor – 1970s/1980s Description: Atmospheric, rare, and ready for the holidays With the holiday season just around the corner, this is a unique opportunity to create an atmospheric and stylish table. This extensive 19-piece glass service is a striking centerpiece for a Christmas or New Year’s dinner, but of course also fits perfectly with other festive occasions. A beautiful focal point for a vintage, Hollywood Regency, or modern interior. Style & Craftsmanship The service is executed in frosted satin glass and decorated with an artistic "splash & drip" watercolor and marble motif in pastel and purple tones, enriched with subtle gold accents and butterfly elements. The style strongly recalls the well-known handmade glassware of Reuven Glass from the 1970s/1980s. Because this type of art glass from that period was unsigned and only carried temporary paper stickers, an exact attribution cannot be established with 100% certainty, but the stylistic kinship and the aesthetics are obvious. The glasses have a clear, ringing sound; in particular the large goblet and the coupe glasses emit a beautiful crystal tone when lightly touched. Composition and dimensions (19-piece): 1x Large Goblet / Bowl with lid on a tall foot: Height: 28 cm Diameter: 14 cm Weight: ca. 520 g 6x Champagne Flutes: Height: 24.5 cm Top diameter: 4.5 cm Base diameter: 7.5 cm Weight: ca. 160 g per glass 6x tall Water / Longdrink Glasses (Tumblers): Height: 15.5 cm Diameter: 6.5 cm Weight: ca. 260 g per glass 6x Coupe / Dessert Bowls on a low foot: Height: 9.5 cm Diameter: 12.5 cm Weight: ca. 240 g per glass Condition: The set is generally in good used condition with light, normal signs of wear consistent with age. Two of the coupe glasses show a very small chip on the rim (one extremely minor and almost invisible, see detail photos). The remaining 17 pieces are intact, without further chips or cracks, and the decoration with gold accents has remained beautifully preserved. Professional & Very Careful Shipping: Because this is a fragile and sizable glass set, we take extreme care with packaging. We wrap according to the professional "box-in-box" system: each glass is individually well wrapped in bubble wrap and securely placed in an inner box. This inner box is then filled with shock-absorbing material and placed in a larger, sturdy outer box. The package is always sent with a signature, insured and Track & Trace. P.S.: the second and final photo was created with AI to evoke a mood.
