All auctions / Contemporary Art / KIRAS - “POP TOMATO EXPLOSION” Velvet RED- versione grande
“POP TOMATO EXPLOSION” RED version grande is a wall sculpture in 3D bioplastic of plant origin, molded with precision and finished entirely by hand. The velvety surface enhances the depth of the red, turning the tomato into a sensory object—soft to look at, vibrant in the light, irresistibly pop. The work captures the moment of impact: a fruit exploding against the wall and opening into a dynamic, theatrical, iconic form. The cracks, deliberately emphasized, are the emotional heart of the sculpture. They do not represent breakage but energy: the internal tension, the moment when matter yields to pressure, to passion, to desire. They are lines of life, of movement, of authenticity. With dimensions of 37×40×11 cm, “POP TOMATO EXPLOSION” becomes a natural focal point. It finds its ideal placement in design kitchens, contemporary living rooms, modern restaurants, creative spaces, or as a statement piece in an entrance where it surprises and captivates at first sight. Its stage presence turns any wall into a story. Signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and packaging from KIRAS, this sculpture blends irony, sensuality and sustainability, transforming a everyday gesture into a contemporary pop icon. Being a handcrafted piece, small irregularities are part of the natural manual process. The work is intended for indoor environments; it is advisable to avoid heat sources and to clean exclusively with a soft cloth or a delicate brush to preserve the velvet effect. KIRAS exhibits in Italian and international galleries and regularly participates in contemporary art fairs such as ART3F, ArtePadova, ArtParma Fair and other sector events.
