Le Yack (1972) - L'Horizon d'Ulysse - Porsche 356 Speedster - Hand signed

Above a calanque, on a path of white sand, a silver roadster from the fifties stopped in the shade of a pine. She got out barefoot and leaned against the bodywork, white shirt tied at the waist, a red ribbon in her hair. She looks at the sea, simply. Since Homer, the Mediterranean has been the sea of departures and returns. Ulysses took ten years to reach home, and every traveler who pauses before this blue asks himself whether he has arrived or if he should depart again. French cinema also filmed Le Mépris facing the wide blue, with a convertible, a woman, and Odyssey in the background. Le Yack revisits this myth and reduces it to a gesture: a stop, the engine off, and the horizon as the sole destination. Pine grove, calcareous rock, chromes gleaming in the sun, blue shadows on the sand: the whole light of the Var captured in this canvas, which brings summer and escape into a room. Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours.
