Lot 98 - A pair of Chinese embroidered silk panels
Each finely embroidered in coloured silk threads against a dark ground, one depicting a tiger and the other a mythical qilin, both standing upon ornamental rocks amidst flowering branches, stylised clouds, bats and auspicious symbols, above crashing waves, enclosed within geometric key-fret borders. Both framed and glazed. Each measuring 45 × 43 cm.
