This chair is distinguished by its rounded backrest, curved armrests ending in volutes, turned front legs and old-looking metal casters. The seat has traditional construction with jute straps, spring suspension and stuffing of vegetable fibers. The chair is in excellent overall condition, with a stable frame showing no wobble. Its seat retains good give and naturally returns to shape after use. The red velvet is particularly well preserved and kept by a row of decorative nails.
