TRIPTYCH — PORTRAITS #148, #149 AND #150 Series: The 1000 Faces Technique: Acrylic on canvas Year: 2026 Original and unique triptych, composed of three canvases In this triptych I gather three female figures who share a palette of turquoise, lavender blue, cream and black, with small orange and red accents. I work on vertical, elongated canvases, creating a relationship between the pieces through the stylized necks, the gazes, and the large hair shapes. In Portrait #148 I build a figure with a black mane formed by rounded volumes. I divide the face between cream and turquoise and contrast an open eye with another closed eye, introducing an expression that may suggest complicity or introspection. The orange circular earring provides a warm point, while a wide lavender curve runs across the lower part of the composition. In Portrait #149 I present a figure with an open gaze, framed by black hair with an angular and asymmetric contour. I divide the face between cream and lavender blue, extending this relationship toward the neck. The rectangle at the top of the background and the large pale curve of the clothing establish a dialogue between straight geometry and organic shapes. In Portrait #150 I elongate the silhouette with a high updo that has a sculptural presence. The face combines cream and lavender blue, with turquoise eyes and red lips. An orange earring, formed by a circle and a rectangle, visually connects with the large circular shape partially visible in the upper left corner. The turquoise of the clothing balances these warm accents. I work the set from a neocubist and hard-edge language, using defined outlines and broad color surfaces. The angular lines of the noses contrast with the curves of the faces, hairdos, and clothing. I seek for each character to retain their personality and, when viewed together, for their differences to build a shared rhythm. This triptych is part of my series The 1000 Faces, a developing project aimed at gathering a thousand original, numbered, unique portraits. In each painting I explore a different identity through geometric fragmentation, color, and the simplification of shapes. To ensure safe transport, I will ship the three canvases carefully protected and rolled inside a sturdy tube. The works are delivered without stretchers. WORK SHEET Title: Triptych — Portraits #148, #149 and #150 Series: The 1000 Faces Technique: Acrylic on canvas Year: 2026 Format: Triptych composed of three canvases Condition: Original and unique works Delivery: Three canvases shipped rolled in a protective tube, without stretchers ARTISTIC SERIES: THE 1000 FACES The 1000 Faces is my developing artistic project, conceived as a collection of one thousand original portraits, numbered and completely different from one another. Through this series I investigate human identity and the multiple ways a face can express character, emotions, experiences, and inner states. I construct each character through a particular combination of lines, geometric shapes, and color relationships. Although I maintain a recognizable visual language throughout the collection, I develop for each face its own composition, personality, and chromatic balance. Each painting occupies a unique place within the whole. With the fragmentation of the face I seek to show identity from different perspectives. I use color planes to explore the facets that can coexist within the same person: strength and fragility, serenity and tension, reality and imagination. My aim is for each work to function independently and, at the same time, to be part of a much larger universe. When I complete the series, the thousand portraits will build a visual archive dedicated to diversity, individuality, and the complexity of the human being. In this triptych I delve into the contrast between the rounded, angular, and vertical forms of three characters. Portraits #148, #149, and #150 share a common chromatic language, while their gestures and silhouettes maintain the individual identity of each figure. I will not reproduce them as other original works in the series. This lot contains AI-generated visualizations. Please refer to the original photographs to verify the true state of the work.
