Marquette Redi-Fast 6-12 Volt Battery Charger

Made in Canada. 1955 - 1960. Painted metal. This charger was manufactured by the Marquette Manufacturing Co., Division of Marquette Equipment Canada Limited. The model was centered around the new silicon diode technology that allowed the charger to be significantly more electrically efficient, run cooler, and last decades longer without losing power output. This unit is rated for 100-50 Amperes, boosting its fast-charge capabilities on 6-volt systems to 100 Amps compared to the 80 Amps of the Porto-Fast line. This allowed attendants to revive dead farm equipment and trucks much faster. Marked, "Rexdale, Ont" on plate on reverse. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. All purchases are eligible for free delivery to the Winter 2026 Dixie Gas Show on December 4th. From the Barry Yorgason Collection.
