Pokémon: Skyridge Display (2003)

Released in 2003 in several English-speaking markets, including the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, the Skyridge expansion features cards from two Japanese sets, Mysterious Mountains and Split Earth, which had been released nearly a year earlier. It is the final Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion published by Wizards of the Coast, as well as the last to feature e-Reader borders, following Expedition and Aquapolis. It brings together Pokémon from the first and second generations and is notable in particular for its six Crystal cards: Charizard, Crobat, Ho-Oh, Kabutops, Celebi and Golem. These cards possess a Poké-Body called ‘Crystal Type’, allowing them to change type depending on the Energy attached to them. Our display copy stands out for the exceptional quality of its sealing.
