Richard Ginori - Gio Ponti - Table service for 6 (7) - Porcelain - Thirty Years

Elegant table service for 6 people produced by the Italian manufactory Richard Ginori in the 1930s. The ornamental pattern features a composition inspired by Oriental decorations, refreshed in the Art Deco style typical of the thirties. The choice of the bulbous vase shape and the simplified floral tendrils may recall the famous designer Gio Ponti, who was the art director of the Richard Ginori manufactory in those years. The set consists of 6 plates of 17 cm and 1 tray of 25 cm. Excellent overall condition.
