Richard Ginori “ VECCHIO GINORI” - Table service (11)...

Splendid porcelain service by Richard Ginori, model “Vecchio Ginori,” among the most iconic and sought-after decorations from the great Italian manufacturing tradition. Still in production today by Ginori 1739, it represents one of the models most coveted by collectors worldwide for elegance, historical continuity, and intrinsic value. The set stands out for its refined raised-relief work and for the rare edge in warm brown tones with red-bordeaux shades, a detail of great value that enhances every element. The delicate contrast between the bright white of the porcelain and the intense chromatic profile gives depth and character to the composition. When we speak of “Vecchio Ginori” we are not merely talking about porcelain, but about the history of Italian craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and that formal purity that has made Ginori one of the world’s absolute excellences. This extraordinary service embodies the essence of Ginori’s classical tradition: white porcelain of the highest quality, refined reliefs, plastic movement, and sculpted details that emerge discreetly and elegantly. The raised decoration, typical of the Vecchio Ginori line, plays with soft scrolls and subtly hinted natural motifs, creating depth and light without the need for color. It is a service that lives on shadows and reflections—sophisticated, aristocratic. Standout Elements The Soup Tureen The true protagonist of the service. Large, sculptural, with a lid adorned by a modeled knop and sinuous handles. Only the soup tureen, today on the official Ginori 1735 site, is offered at 495 euros, testimony to the intrinsic value of this model. The Raviera A refined element and increasingly rare in complete services. Elegant lines, harmonious relief, extraordinary presence as a centerpiece on the table. Composition: • 1 soup tureen with lid • 9 flat plates • 1 raviera / oval serving dish Conditions: good overall condition with evident signs of wear consistent with age and use. Natural patina present. No structural breaks reported. A service of great charm, ideal for collectors of Italian porcelain, enthusiasts of classic dining, and investors in quality antique furnishings. Why it’s a top-tier service • Iconic model and still produced in leading collections • Timeless design • Very high individual piece value • Presence of serving dishes and complete accessories • Soup tureen and raviera that significantly boost overall valuation Tracked shipping with careful packaging
