All auctions / Contemporary Art / Richard Orlinski (1966) - Croco Spirit Purple édition
Superb Croco Spirit Purple by Richard Orlinski, in its spectacular glossy metallic violet finish. This sculpture adopts the iconic faceted aesthetic characteristic of Richard Orlinski and his Born Wild universe. Its particularly luminous finish offers beautiful violet, bluish, and purple reflections depending on the lighting and the angle from which the piece is viewed. Dimensions: approximately 22 × 8 × 9/9.5 cm. The sculpture comes with its original presentation box and its certificate of authenticity, visible in the photographs. The piece presents a very nice overall appearance. To note, for transparency, there is a scratch on the upper part of the snout, photographed in detail in the listing. This aesthetic defect is taken into account in the presentation and valuation of the piece. A very beautiful contemporary sculpture, immediately recognizable, ideal to complete a Richard Orlinski collection or as a striking decorative piece.
