Richard Satava contemporary studio art glass compote featuring a wide, shallow bowl with a blue and white mottled cellular pattern. The bowl is supported by a sculptural open-work pedestal base consisting of six dark amethyst glass struts that converge at a central knop and flare into a circular, slightly domed foot. The underside of the base features a hand-engraved cursive signature reading Richard Satava followed by the numbers 2610 on the polished surface.
