Ricoh FF-1 black Analogue compact camera

Up for auction: a small masterpiece of Japanese micro-engineering—the Ricoh FF-1, introduced in December 1978 as a direct competitor to the Minox 35 and the Olympus XA. This splendid pocket camera combines the portability of a "Spy Cam" with the quality of full-frame 35mm. The design features a rugged black metal body with a front-flap opening system: when closed, the lens retracts completely into the body, making the camera flat and ideal to slip into a pocket. MADE IN JAPAN The heart of this camera is the legendary fixed Color Rikenon 35mm f/2.8 lens (Tessar-style optical scheme with 4 elements), famous among street photography enthusiasts for its extraordinary sharpness and its characteristic triangular bokeh with three blades. The camera operates with a shutter-priority automatic exposure system (from f/2.8 to f/16 and automatic "A" mode). I do not ship outside the EU.
