Rogue Guirey Simpson (1943-2005) "Hill Top" Oil on Board. An animal painter, Rogue Simpson depicts cattle, horses, buffalo, antelope, deer and wolves in their natural habitat from her studio in Phoenix, Arizona. She likes to capture moments in the lives of these creatures that people usually don't see. One of her favorite painting locations is Yellowstone National Park. A charter member of the American Women Artists and a lifetime member of the Mountain Oyster Club in Tucson, Arizona, Rogue Simpson has participated in national shows across the country including the Coors Western Art Exhibit, The Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona, the Bennington Center for the Arts in Bennington, Vermont and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming.
