SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 127 - Lot 280

SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 127 Dupuis, 1972. Large in-4 hardcover, red cloth spine, front cover illustrated in color. A very attractive collection from *Le Journal Spirou*, corresponding to the 127th *Album du Journal*, published in 1972. The cover, which is very lively and particularly charming, features Boule and Bill in a humorous mealtime scene, with the caption: “Okay, we should be kind to animals… but let’s not go overboard!” The layout, very typical of the early 1970s, emphasizes the abundance of content with the phrases “700 pages of fantasy,” “25 complete stories,” and “50 gags,” reinforcing the issue’s commercial appeal. The presence of Boule and Bill on the cover is particularly appealing to collectors.
