SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 182 - Lot 240

SPIROU - Journal Album, No. 182 Dupuis, 1983. Large quarto hardcover, blue cloth spine, illustrated front cover, 520 pages of humor, adventure, and mystery. A very interesting collection from the 182nd Spirou Magazine Album, featuring an extremely graphic and instantly recognizable cover. The close-up composition, centered on two caricatured and expressive faces, plays on humor and dramatic tension. The contrast between the deep blue background and the orange-toned skin tones creates a beautiful visual effect. This volume is particularly sought after by fans of the more “designer-style” covers from the early 1980s.
