All auctions / Contemporary Art / Textured (1993) - Mr Freeze
29.7 × 21 cm (A4) | Stencil on 250 gsm paper, sold with a black wooden frame. A playful twist on Frieza, reimagined as an ice cream man. The original villainous character is placed in a completely unexpected setting, mixing pop culture, humour and contrast. About the artist : Textured is a French contemporary artist whose work blends urban art, abstraction and geometric composition. Trained as an engineer, he developed a visual language built on the contrast between structure and spontaneity, combining spray paint, stencils, textures and bold graphic elements. His practice explores pop culture, architecture and urban environments through distinctive series such as Urban Mosaic and Legends. Alongside his studio work, he also creates street interventions using stencilled phrases centered around love, with the aim of spreading positive and uplifting messages in public spaces. Each artwork is created by hand in his studio in the south of France.
