The Hanging - Il Gin Appeso + Flower + Smoked - Italian Gin - 50cl - 3 bottles

The "The Hanging" line is a series of small-batch products from Opificio Alcotrafficante, based in Turin, Italy. The unique feature of these products lies in their production method: a prolonged aromatization process achieved by "suspending" the juniper above the spirit. Essentially, it's a Compound Gin, yet there is no direct contact between the alcohol and the botanicals. The result? A smooth, delicate gin that extracts only the plant's aromatic notes. This initial batch from "The Hanging" line features 3 gins: - "The Hanging Flower": Opificio Alcotrafficante’s signature gin, which changes color during mixing thanks to a blend of herbs and flowers. - "The Hanging Smoked": A gin that leans towards the world of whisky; peated and smoked notes and vanilla make for a warm, comforting Gin & Tonic, perfect for cold weather. - "The Hanging Citra": A refreshing, thirst-quenching summer version featuring Italian citrus fruits such as grapefruit, orange, and bergamot.
