• Subject: Christ and the Samaritan Woman at the Well (Front) / Holy Apostle Standing (Back) • Era / Period: 19th Century (with archaizing stylistic elements recalling the Veneto-Cretan school or Balkan/Russian productions) • Technique: Tempera (or traditional pigments) on a wooden panel prepared with plaster, with details in gold leaf gilding on the back. • Dimensions: 17.5 x 12.5 cm • Panel thickness: 1.5 cm • Conditions: Original state with evident signs of time. Shows widespread color losses, natural wood patina, surface abrasions and small cracks that attest to its authenticity and age.
