Wayne Model 100-A Swivel Gas Pump in Texaco

Made in U.S.A. 1947 - 1950. What sets the 100-A apart from standard gas pumps of the era is its swivel-arm / swing-arm hose mechanism. Rather than the hose hanging loosely from the side or relying on an internal retractor cable, the hose is anchored to a heavy, articulating porcelain arm wrapping around the midsection of the cabinet. This allowed the service station attendant to easily pull the nozzle out and walk it around to either side of a vehicle without twisting or binding the line. These pumps were sometimes used at marinas to service both sides of a dock. Unmarked. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions.
