Wedgwood Creamware Grapevine Decorated Porter Mug

A cylindrical creamware porter mug or tankard manufactured by Wedgwood. The exterior features a hand-painted grapevine border in sepia tones beneath the rim, accompanied by delicate tendrils. The angular D-shaped handle is decorated with stylized floral and foliate motifs. The lower portion of the body displays molded horizontal bands above a flared and fluted foot rim. The underside of the base bears the impressed mark WEDGWOOD. The base also retains a white Skinner auction label, a circular silver-tone sticker for the Rubin Collection, and a yellow inventory label.
